Our safeguarding policy
Our policy follows FA guidance and has been approved and signed by the club committee. It explains how we keep children safe, what we expect of coaches, volunteers and parents, and how concerns are handled.
- Coaches and volunteers in roles that require it complete an FA DBS check and FA safeguarding training before they start.
- Photos and video of players are only used appropriately, with consent arrangements in place.
- Communication with players is open and age-appropriate, and copied to parents or carers wherever possible.
- Every concern is taken seriously, acted on promptly and handled in confidence.
